(Reno, NV) – April, 27, 2015 Reno, Nevada-based political and public affairs consulting firm j3 STRATEGIES, Ltd., announced the hiring of Ryan Hamilton as Vice President of the company. Hamilton joins j3 from the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, where he was the manager for Policy Development and oversaw the re-launch and expansion of the Metro Chamber’s issue-based policy committees and helped shaped the Metro Chamber’s communications efforts and public policy positions.

Mr. Hamilton will serve j3 clients in Carson City through the remainder of the 2015 Legislative Session before returning to southern Nevada to provide a permanent presence for the Reno-based company. He is the former managing editor of MBE magazine, a nationwide publication headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, that focuses on supplier diversity.

Mr. Hamilton is also a veteran of local and statewide campaigns in Nevada. He currently sits on the board of the American Legion’s Nevada Boys’ State program, where he is a senior counselor. Mr. Hamilton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from the Catholic University of America and is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Journalism & Media Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is certified by the United States Olympic Weightlifting Team (USAW) as a Sports Performance Coach.
